SunPower® Performance Series (P-Series) solar panels wrap front contact cells with SunPower’s trusted quality and durability, resulting in a panel that offers superior efficiency, power, yield and reliability compared to Conventional Panels.

Engineered for reliability
An innovative shingled design eliminates many of the reliability challenges of traditional front contact panels. Fragile ribbons and solder bonds are removed to expand the active cell area, flexible and redundant connections keep energy flowing, and lower peak cell temperatures enable longer panel life.

Top performer in independent reliability testing
In the 2017 DNV GL PV Module Reliability Scorecard, SunPower Performance Series panels were named as a top performer in all five reliability tests conducted: thermal cycling, damp heat, humidity-freeze, dynamic mechanical load and potential induced degradation.
